[Model Specifications]

This product is produced in a rare 1/350 scale for the Special Series.

It is a full-hull type with the bottom of the ship reproduced. Two types are available: "Yu-1" manufactured at Hitachi Kasado Factory (日立笠戸工場) and "Yu-1001" manufactured at Japan Steel Works (日本製鋼所) in Hiroshima (廣島).

The kit includes enough parts for four 1/350 Maruyu (丸宇) ships, making it possible to build a large number of them.

Newly developed decals are included

Etched parts are mainly included for radio cable supports, deck railings, and diving plane guards.
