[About the Suzuki RGV-Γ]
The Suzuki RGV-Γ was the machine ridden by Kenny Roberts Jr. and Nobuatsu Aoki in the 1999 World Road Race GP500 class.
It was fitted with an aluminum twin-tube frame and a 2-stroke 70-degree V4 twin-crank engine.
Excellent balance provided nimble handling, high cornering speed, and a smooth power output.
With this engine, K. Roberts Jr. won four races, including two in a row at the start of the season, and consistently placed among the top riders throughout the season, finishing second in the overall rankings.
This was a major milestone for Suzuki, which had not won a race since the 1995 German GP.
