The second release is "The Yamato (大和) as it appeared upon completion in December 1941."

To recreate the appearance with 15.5 cm secondary guns mounted on both sides, this product features newly added, dedicated molds.

The Yamato, the first ship of the Yamato-class (大和型) battleships, was completed in December 1941 as the culmination of large-scale shipbuilding technology from the Kongo-class (金剛型) to the Nagato-class (長門型).

■ This product is designed as a snap-fit kit that does not require glue, setting it apart from conventional kits.

■ The motif is the appearance of the Yamato as it appeared upon completion in December 1941, shortly after the start of the Pacific War.

■ The top of the bridge is molded in white, allowing for easy accenting.

■ Includes a wealth of included decals.

・The flight deck has linoleum-covered walkways, which can be easily recreated with decals.

This model includes the admiral's flag, allowing you to recreate the image of Admiral Yamamoto (山本司令長官), Commander-in-Chief of the Combined Fleet, seated at his post when he sortied from Hashirajima (柱島) in May 1942.
