[German 18-Ton Heavy Half-Truck FAMO]
The 18-ton heavy half-track FAMO was the largest half-track used by the German army during WWII.
Developed for tank recovery, heavy artillery such as 21cm howitzers, and towing 22-and 23-ton trailers, it was also used for transporting troops.
Its greatest power was as a tank recovery vehicle, capable of towing a single Panzer III or Panzer IV tank, or three or more Tiger I heavy tanks, making it an indispensable support vehicle for German tank units.
[Model Specifications]

[Recreate the scene of a three-vehicle tank towing scene]
The highlight of the 18-ton heavy half-track is towing a Tiger I heavy tank, weighing approximately 60 tons, when all three vehicles are connected together.
The sight of a massive tank being towed by three equally massive half-tracks is truly impressive, with the total length reaching 1.2 meters even in 1/35 scale.
Just like the real thing, the 18-ton half-tracks are connected to each other with wire ropes, and to the tanks with drawbars.
You can also place smaller vehicles nearby to enjoy the contrast in size, expanding the scope of your diorama creation.
★ Total length = 243 mm
