The RC166 was the ultimate 6-cylinder engine-equipped machine developed by Honda to conquer the 250cc class of the 1966 World Road Racing GP.

Despite its 250cc displacement, this 4-stroke engine boasts a sophisticated parallel 6-cylinder DOHC 4-valve mechanism, producing a maximum output of over 60 horsepower at an incredible 18,000 rpm.

Rided by the masterful Mike Hailwood, it demonstrated overwhelming strength, winning all 10 races it entered and securing both the rider and manufacturer titles in 1966.

Furthermore, it played a key role in Honda's victory in all 5 classes of the World Road Racing GP that year.

This legendary machine, which wrote a glorious page in Honda's racing history, is revived in 1/12 scale using the latest mold technology.

● The air-cooled inline 6-cylinder engine is modeled with great three-dimensionality, with the deeply sculpted shape of the cooling fins achieved by layering parts.

● The cowling, which shows a slim form, is a single molded part with subtle lines that are realistic.

● The tires are made of solid rubber and realistically reproduce the triangular cross-section shape that is characteristic of the 1960s.

● The drum brake air duct, cowl snap, and chain slider are represented by etched parts, and the rivets are represented by inlet marks.
