This summer, as we approach the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, the film "Yukikaze" will be released, based on the story of the destroyer Yukikaze, one of the 38 Type A destroyers that comprised the main fleet of the Imperial Japanese Navy, and the only one to survive until the end of the war, earning it the title of "Miracle Destroyer."

Set against the backdrop of the tumultuous era from the Pacific War to the post-war period and into the present, this film depicts, on a grand scale, the lives and fates of those who struggled to survive.

Based on historical facts, expect a new perspective on the story of the Yukikaze.

A limited edition kit, featuring a special package design inspired by the film, will be released nationwide on August 15th (Friday) to coincide with the film's theatrical release.

[Model Specifications]

This plastic model kit recreates the veteran destroyer Yukikaze, which fought from the beginning of the Pacific War until its end. Specifically, it depicts the ship during Operation Ten-Go in April 1945, when it provided escort for the battleship Yamato.

● Special package design inspired by scenes from the film "Yukikaze."

● 1/350 scale, total length 338 mm, total width 31 mm. The powerful appearance, including reinforced anti-aircraft guns and radar, is faithfully reproduced.

● The hull is a two-part design, allowing for detailed representation of the seams and external wiring.

● Anchor chain and propeller shaft are made of high-quality metal.

● The machine guns are meticulously crafted using laser cutting technology, including details like flash suppressors and heat shields.

● The two main gun turrets and two torpedo tube launchers can rotate even after assembly, thanks to polycaps.

● Includes a base for displaying the completed model.

● The completed model can be stored in the original packaging.
