Description
Metallic Series: This is a metallic color series that can express an overwhelming metallic feel. By using Metallic Master, the metallic feel will be further enhanced.
Spec: The Prism Pastel Series features pastel-toned, pearlescent colors that shift in hue depending on the viewing angle. This specific shade Turquoise Blue/Yellow transitions from turquoise blue to yellow. As the final appearance is influenced by the underlying surface, varying the base color allows you to achieve a wide range of distinct color effects. Since the finish tends to have a slightly matte quality, applying a clear coat as a final step will enhance its luster.

Color Tones Transform Dramatically Depending on the Base Coat
Prism Pastel colors are highly susceptible to the influence of the underlying base coat.
In the swatches shown below, the top row—featuring a white base—represents the standard color tones.
The rows beneath that display the same colors applied over blue and red base coats, respectively.
Furthermore, as these are polarizing paints, their color tones also shift depending on the viewing angle.
By experimenting with different base coats through trial and error, you can create and express a color that is uniquely your own.

Hasegawa 20 MechatroWeGo No.05 "Sports" — Painted in "Blue"
Achieving Color Separation with a Single Coat
I applied a coat of "Turquoise Blue Yellow" paint to the MechatroWeGo "Sports" (Blue) kit.
The model on the right is a straight build (unpainted kit), while the model on the left has been painted entirely in "Turquoise Blue Yellow"—covering every area except for the white sections.
Due to the influence of the underlying plastic color, applying a single coat results in distinct color variations. This allows you to enjoy easy, color-separated painting while saving time.
