Our company has taken a new step toward the next 100 years.

Looking back, our history has been filled with numerous challenges and trials.

In 1938 -15 years after our founding - we succeeded in developing the first domestically produced adhesive, which we launched as "Cemedine C."

This product, which remains popular with our customers today, is now registered as an "Important Historical Material in Science and Technology" by the National Museum of Nature and Science.

In the 1950s, we fueled a boom in model airplanes and published a technical journal, *Cemedine Review*; by leading the adhesive industry through our technical expertise, we laid the foundation for our company’s growth.

In the 1960s, we pioneered the use of various new materials, earning us a reputation as a company defined by its technical prowess. From the 1980s onward, we developed products such as POS Seal, Tile Ace, and Super X all of which remain pillars of our business today.

Throughout our history, we have consistently embraced challenges to address the needs of society as the times have evolved.

Our journey has been guided by the conviction of our founder, Zenjiro Imamura [今村善次郎] who believed that "as long as physical objects exist, there will be an infinite demand for adhesives to repair them" and by his founding philosophy of creating products that serve a useful purpose in the world.

Our mission is defined as "Creating Value Through Bonding" generating new value by connecting things, and providing solutions to the challenges facing society.

Our vision "Connecting objects to objects, experiences to experiences, and people to people, thereby fostering technological progress and a prosperous society"—reflects our commitment to addressing societal challenges across various contexts and contributing to the creation of a better future.

Our history is the fruit of the efforts of all our stakeholders who have supported us throughout the years and our employees.

As we look back on our past and set our sights on the next 100 years, we intend to reawaken our company’s core DNA.

We aim to create new value in manufacturing, carry the "Cemedine Legacy" into an uncharted future, and continue addressing various societal challenges through our adhesive technologies - ultimately driving major innovation for the world.
