[The Easily Eight: The Culmination of Masterpiece Tanks]

Nearly 50,000 M4 Sherman tanks were produced during World War II, making it the main battle tank of the Allied forces.

Among its many variations, the M4A3E8 Easy Eight was the final version produced during the war.

Equipped with a Ford V8 gasoline engine, it was an improved version of the M4A3(76), featuring a later-model welded hull with a single-piece front for improved protection and a 76 mm gun with superior anti-tank capabilities.

It was characterized by its high mobility thanks to the new horizontal suspension system (HVSS) and wide tracks.

M4A3s equipped with HVSS were commonly called the M4A3E8 Easy Eight, derived from its model designation E8.

Production began in August 1944, and it was first deployed in combat at the Battle of the Bulge in December of the same year.

By April 1945, approximately 2,600 units had been produced, contributing to the Allied victory on the European front by utilizing its superior firepower and mobility.

They were also deployed in the subsequent Korean War.

● Based on research of the actual vehicle, the impressive appearance of the tank, including the powerful turret equipped with a 76mm gun, the steeply sloped single-plate front armor, and the horizontal suspension, is modeled in its World War II specifications.

● The turret and upper hull are made using slide molding, achieving both realistic detail and ease of assembly.

● The texture expression of the turret's cast surface and the welding patterns on various parts is also a highlight.

● The engine grille, exhaust deflector at the rear of the hull, and tools are also sharply finished.

● The wide single-pin T66 tracks are easy to assemble and realistic belt type.

● Transparent parts are provided for the headlight lenses and cupola vision blocks.

● Includes a half-figure of a commander and two types of decals for the European front.
