[Model Specifications]

The Imperial Japanese Navy's Gekko Type 11, which achieved numerous successes in intercepting American bombers during the Pacific War, is one of the most well-known aircraft.

This is a plastic assembly kit of the early production model, which was deployed to the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Corps as the first full-scale night fighter.

The model faithfully captures the distinctive Gekko style, such` as its large, thick main wings and engine cowling, which was similar to that of the Zero Fighter and encased in the Sakae Type 21, as well as the stepped upper fuselage.

The two oblique guns protruding powerfully from the rear of the cockpit are precisely reproduced, along with their bases, magazines, and gun mounts.

The inspection hatch can be displayed open or closed, allowing for creative display options.

The set also includes two crew figures and five decals, including those belonging to the 202nd Naval Air Group in Borneo and the Yokosuka Naval Air Group.
