[Model Specifications]

The battleship Yamato, a symbol of the Combined Fleet, returns with newly added and modified 25 mm triple machine gun parts featuring intricate detail!!

The battleship Yamato (大和) was the first ship of the Yamato-class, (大和型) the last ship type designed and built by the Imperial Japanese Navy.

Completed at the Kure Naval Arsenal (呉海軍工廠) in December 1941, shortly after the start of the war, it was an unprecedented vessel, equipped with nine of the world's largest 46 cm guns and a displacement of 64,000 tons.

Immediately after completion, it was incorporated into the Combined Fleet.

As aircraft became the primary force, the Yamato underwent modifications to strengthen its anti-aircraft armament and participated in the Battle of the Philippine Sea (菲律賓海海戰) and the Battle of Leyte Gulf (雷伊泰灣海戰).

In April 1945, when US forces landed on Okinawa (沖繩), the Yamato, along with its escorting light cruisers and destroyers, sortied as part of a special surface attack force.

However, its advance was halted by US air power, and it sank off Cape Bonomisaki in Kyushu (九州坊ノ岬沖).

● This product is modeled after the Yamato's appearance during its final sortie towards Okinawa (沖繩) in April 1945.
