Description
[Convey the solid feel of the most powerful tank with a model]
The early Tiger I shocked Allied soldiers when it appeared on the Eastern Front and North African Front at the end of the war in 1942.
While inheriting the traditional vertical design of German tanks, it was equipped with a powerful 88 mm gun and up to 100 mm of heavy armor, making it the most powerful heavy tank at the time.
The early model's distinctive features include a large cylindrical commander's cupola, a turret with smoke grenade launchers and a large pistol port, and an air cleaner at the rear of the hull, creating a solid style.
Approximately 200 vehicles were produced by June 1943.
