Description
This plastic model assembly kit recreates the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) personnel deployed to Iraq, easily configurable with the JGSDF's latest equipment, the Light Armored Vehicle.
Its rugged appearance, wearing bulletproof vests, which differ in specifications from those used in Japan, is faithfully recreated.
The set includes two figures: a leader pointing into the distance and reporting the situation, and a commander receiving the report; two soldiers standing guard with Type 89 5.56 mm rifles; and a machine gunner manning the turret on the roof of the Light Armored Vehicle (sold separately).
Decals are provided for the nationality markings on the camouflage uniforms.
Accessories include a Type 89 5.56 mm rifle and magazine pouch, a small microphone and receiver, binoculars, and 110 mm personal anti-tank ammunition.

The troops deployed to Iraq wear the same camouflage uniforms as those used in Japan, clearly recognizable as the JGSDF, and are topped off with bulletproof vests for enhanced bullet resistance.
The equipment is attached directly to the webbing of the bulletproof vest, with the Japanese flag affixed in a highly visible location.
