Description
[A Powerful Reinforcement from Italy to the Diorama World]
The 508CM Coloniale was a military vehicle used by both the Italian and German armies during World War II.
Its nimble two-wheel drive, excellent suspension, and 32 horsepower engine allowed it to reach speeds of up to 90 km/h.
Its overall length was 3.6 meters and it could accommodate four people.
Deployed on a wide range of fronts, it was particularly used in North Africa for communication and reconnaissance by Italian officers.
Following the Italian surrender in September 1943, the German army also captured and used many Coloniales. Some of these German Coloniales were modified to German specifications, including the addition of Notek lights and license plates.
