The color and shine unique to "K.O.G." have been meticulously adjusted by Volks professional finishers!

We have faithfully reproduced "a slightly reddish gold" and "a subtle copper color that closely matches the base color, giving the impression of an all-gold finish"!

What is "Born Paint"?

Toamil Co., Ltd. launched a high-quality lacquer-based hobby paint in March 2021.

The product line continues to expand, including the high-gloss "Hyper Solid Series" of base colors and the "Metallic Series" offering a chrome-like finish.

In particular, the "Born Chrome" and "Born Mirror" paints in the Metallic Series have the unique advantage of allowing a clear coat to be applied after complete drying.

This allows users to adjust the shade and gloss without compromising the metallic effect, which has led Volks to actively use these paints in their "F.S.S." model kit painting samples.

Building on this success, Volks and Toamill have jointly developed a special color for the IMS "The Knight of Gold (K.O.G.)" kit, using the "Neo Series" metallic colors, which boast a beautiful gloss, excellent leveling properties, and solvent resistance, and contain finely-ground metallic (or mica) particles.
