Another highlight was the cutting-edge mechanism at the time.
It was equipped with a 125 horsepower 1.8 liter inline 4-cylinder engine and four independent suspensions.
The front suspension used double wishbones, which were rare at the time, and it was the first mass-produced car in Japan to have an optional anti-lock brake system.
The Prelude was equipped with Honda's unique advanced equipment.
It accurately captured the needs of the times with its attractive styling and sophisticated mechanism, and became popular as a private car representative of the 1980s.
