The Morris Mini Minor, a British compact car, was born in 1959.

It featured an 850cc four-cylinder engine mounted transversely at the front, driving the front wheels.

Its innovative layout, with the transmission and differential beneath the engine, ensured a spacious interior that could comfortably seat four adults.

As a car unlike any other, the Mini became a beloved British mass-market vehicle, spawning numerous variations.

Among these, the Cooper 1275S, released in 1964, was the most high-performance model.

Developed in collaboration with John Cooper, known for his racing car development, this model boasted a 1275cc engine, twin carburetors, and a maximum output of 75 horsepower and a top speed of 155 km/h.

Furthermore, the suspension was strengthened, including the addition of disc brakes to the front.

With its various tuning improvements enhancing its driving performance, the Mini achieved great success in motorsports such as rallies and touring car races.
