Description
[Toyota's sports flagship of the 1990s with refined high performance]
Toyota's sports flagship, the Supra, was unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show in 1993 and attracted attention at the venue.
This model, which was introduced under the theme of "THE SPORTS OF TOYOTA", has a completely new style from its predecessor.
It has been reborn with a powerful form full of volume with a curved base.
The engine installed in the sports grade RZ is a 2997cc inline 6-cylinder twin cam twin turbo 2JZ-GTE type.
The domestic version has 280 horsepower, and the export version has 320 horsepower.
This high power is transmitted to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission made by Getrag of Germany.
The suspension is double wishbone on both the front and rear, and it also has slip control to improve driving stability.
In addition, the brakes are ventilated on all four wheels, and the front wheels are equipped with opposed 4-pot calipers as standard.
The Supra, which has refined its high-performance driving, was later featured in a movie, and it still attracts the envy of many car fans today.
