Description

[Powerful Style Born on the Track]

The 911 GT2, a production racing car based on the FIA (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile) "GT2" class racing regulations, was released in 1993 as the 993-type Porsche 911.

Its rear-mounted 3.6-liter, air-cooled, flat-six engine, mated to two KKK turbochargers, produced 450 horsepower.

Driven by a six-speed manual transmission, it accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and achieved a top speed of over 300 km/h.

Furthermore, the body's weight was reduced with aluminum front hood and door panels.

Features such as a front spoiler designed to improve brake cooling efficiency, screw-attached overfenders, and a large rear wing with air ducts further enhanced its competitiveness.

The interior, with its roll cage and lack of amenities, is also noteworthy.

Of the approximately 170 GT2s produced, only 57 were produced as the road-legal "Club Sport" version.

Not only is it extremely rare, but it is also a special 911 that offers the ultimate driving pleasure, and is traded at extremely high prices at auctions, attracting the envious gazes of Porsche fans.
