Magnetic mines, which appeared at the start of World War II, were a type of magnetic mine that exploded in response to the magnetic field generated by a ship's hull, posing a major threat to ships sailing at sea.

In 1941, the Japanese Navy quickly equipped all of its ships with coils called "outboard electrical circuits" (demagnetizing wires) as a measure to counteract the magnetic field distortion caused by the hull.

This product is an etched part that can be used to recreate outboard electrical circuits.

It can be used for a wide range of Japanese Navy ships, including the Mogami 最上型 (軽巡洋艦).

It is available in a length of approximately 2 meters, suitable for large ships such as the battleship Yamato. (戦艦大和)
