Description
[Exploring the evolution of the much-talked-about second-generation FR sports car through a model]
The Toyota GR 86 is a FR-layout sports car that was unveiled worldwide in April 2021.
The style expresses a wide stance and a low center of gravity, and adopts aerodynamic items that are conscious of participating in motorsports.
Weight reduction is also pursued by using aluminum materials for the roof, front fenders, and bonnet.
The engine is equipped with a lightweight, compact, low-center-of-gravity 2.4-liter horizontally opposed 4-cylinder DOHC that delivers 235 horsepower.
The suspension is front strut and rear double wishbone type.
The direct and pleasant driving unique to FR has been further evolved.
