[An uncompromising super sports car named after a legendary driver]

Together with McLaren Racing, which competes in F1 races, McLaren Automotive forms the McLaren Group and is responsible for the development and sales of high-performance super sports cars.

The super sports car that the company unveiled at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show is the McLaren Senna.

Named after legendary F1 driver Ayrton Senna, this machine was developed with the concept of "a road car that delivers the best performance on the circuit."

The lightweight body uses a lot of carbon fiber and is mid-mounted with a 4-liter V8 twin-turbo engine that delivers 800 horsepower.

The body is designed to thoroughly pursue cooling, aerodynamics, and downforce in each part. It features an aggressive form reminiscent of a racing car, which is a departure from smoothness.

Although it was a limited production car of 500 units, it attracted attention because it was already sold out at the time of announcement.
