[Easily apply inking, an essential painting technique for scale models]
This paint is used for inking, which emphasizes the three-dimensional effect of panel lines (recessed molds) on airplane and car models by pouring a paint darker than the base color onto them.
The paint is already diluted to a concentration suitable for inking, so you can shake the bottle to mix the paint, then start working immediately with the brush attached to the cap.
Simply place the brush on the recessed mold and the paint will flow along the mold.
Once the paint has dried, simply wipe off any excess paint with a craft cotton swab moistened with enamel thinner X-20.
This makes it much easier to apply inking to give your model a crisp look.
The base is painted with lacquer or acrylic paint.
Dark gray is ideal for areas where black is too dark, such as the panel lines of gray or silver aircraft.
