Mr. Metal Color is a special paint that recreates the shine of real metal, something that regular paints can't achieve, simply by polishing with a cloth.
When applying Mr. Metal Color with a brush, move the brush in the same direction, such as from right to left or top to bottom.
Once the paint has dried, gently polish with a rag or tissue, old clothing fabric is ideal.
Various finishes can be achieved by varying the amount of pressure used.
No polishing will result in a matte finish, gentle polishing will create a shine, and more vigorously polishing will create a high gloss finish.
The key is to apply light pressure while smoothing.
*Please note that applying a coat of Mr. Super Clear will dull Mr. Metal Color.
*If you plan to apply a coat, please use our water-based top coat series.
Coating will reduce adhesion and oxidation of metal particles.
*This is a different paint series from Mr. Color, Dried paint cannot be restored using Mr. Color Replenishing Agent for Mr. Color (T-115).
